learning how to ollie
When you first try to perform an ollie try it stationary.Stand on your board with your front foot in the center of your board.Snap down the tail of your board so it hits the pavement. As the board is snapping down slide your front foot to the nose of the board and bring your back foot level with your front foot. The tail of your board should pop up to both feet and will become level with the nose.slowlynose.Slowly put pressure on the board until it hits the ground with all four wheels.
This may take some time so don't get frustrated with yourself and just keep practicing.
Some key elements are timing and body postioning.Timing depends on how much you practice. You have to slide your foot up to the nose by the time the tail hits the ground.
Try to keep your body postioning.Haveweight centered so you don't land in a manual or nose manual and have the board shoot out from under you. It's all about practice.Have fun skating!skating.
