Learn to kickflip

skateboard kickflip how to do a kickflip

Kickflip. This is a slightly more advanced tricks than any of the others. The key elements are your ollie(has to be about 7 inches high)your body postioning, and the flick.Stand on your board in a ollie position except have your front foot heel hang off the edge a little bit more. You snapp down the tail and slide your leg forward.Except when you get to the nose of the board give it a flick with your toes(if your goofy footed flick it on the right side of the board and if if your regualer footed to the left side)which will start the board flipping.Stay above your board and time right. When you see the grip tape come around stamp your feet down and claim your first kickflip.
Make sure that your body weight is centered so you don't land in a wheelie and have the board shoot out from under you.If the board is flipping enough just give it a little harder flick. If it's flipping to much a little less flick.Don't get frustrated because this is one of the hardest tricks to learn in skateboarding.PRACTICE!
